About Rabbi Aura

A gifted musician and singer, Aura Ahuvia was ordained as both rabbi and spiritual director with ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. Before that, she earned two master’s degrees from the University of Michigan, in journalism and, later, Judaic studies. She served on the ALEPH Board for nearly 10 years, almost half of them as board president. After serving in congregations for many years, she shifted to private holistic coaching, and now works with individuals and small groups to attain healthier habits of mind, body and spirit. She additionally provides preparation and integration coaching for those who use psychedelics. For the curious, she is available for consultation and education regarding psychedelic medicines; however, she does not supply these substances, is not involved with their use, nor does she provide any information regarding their procurement.
